Award Categories
1. Advocate for Education Leader - An individual who is a champion for Education in Prince George's County
2. Business Leader - A business that promotes Economic Empowerment for Prince George’s County residents
3. Dream Family – A family who exemplifies strong values for their family and the community
4. Civic Engagement Leader - An Individual who works tirelessly to engage community on issues that affect Prince George's County
5. Student Leader - A student who has been role a model for their school and community
6. Veteran Leader - A veteran who serves and empowers members of their community

Award Criteria
1. Individuals, Groups or Businesses must reside in Prince George’s County
2. Nominations must be received by December 22, 2008.

Please provide the following:
a. Name of Individual, Group or Business
b. Description of the service they are providing (please cite examples)
c. List of their Accomplishments
c. Brief bio of individual, group, or business
d. Why you think they should receive the award?
e. Name and contact information of the person nominating the individual, group or business

We will select two finalists in each category and notify them by December 29, 2008. One winner from each category will be announced at the Awards Dinner on January 15, 2009.
